Description:

Lesson planning can be time consuming and, by the end, it often doesn’t feel as though it has been productive enough. Planning lessons that encourage learners to communicate, whilst differentiating for different levels in your class can be a huge challenge. However, in an article in Modern English Teacher in March 2024, Rachel Tsateri suggested a low-prep jigsaw video lesson idea that can engage learners in meaningful communication.

In this interactive webinar, we’ll look at the whats and the whys of jigsaw learning, particularly when using video. How can we structure an effective jigsaw lesson and what are the benefits of using this procedure? Why use video? And how can all this help with your lesson planning? Join Rachel to find out!
